Through all the changes and uncertainty, we're continuously inspired by the resiliency and innovative spirit of the people behind the businesses. There's a lot going on in the world of Travel & Tourism - here are some good news and happenings from within the region and around the globe.

The Good News(letter) is brought to you twice a month by the TOTA team.

Thompson Okanagan

Just in time for warmer days, Kelowna's Bohemian Cafe & Catering Co has teamed up with next-door neighbours Molly's Cafe to share their patios!"Because together, we are stronger. It's all about supporting your neighbours and helping each other succeed through these tough times."

Until May 15th, thebcbasket.com is donating 100% of the profits from new Wine, Cider, Spirits and Beer subscription basket orders to Kelowna based charity Mamas for Mamas. BC based businesses that would like to have products featured in the locally focused baskets can reach out directly to The BC Basket.

Naramata Inn's 'At Home' program is serving up decadent, three-course dinners for you to enjoy at your own dining table (or backyard patio!). Meals include generous portions of salads, mains and desserts as well as options to stock the pantry and freezer with Inn favourites.

Tourism Kelowna is partnering with One Tree Planted to plant a tree in British Columbia for every purchase made in the Kelowna Visitor Centre or through the Love for Kelowna online store!

Around the Globe

For those missing international travel (and airplane food?), British Airways has launched a 'Feast Box' for an at-home first class dining experience. Only available within the UK, but you could always recreate your favourite airplane meals at home yourself ;).
