Feature Story:
Kamloops Wine Trail

The Kamloops Wine Trail showcases a group of wineries in the scenic Thompson Valley. 2020 meant temporary closures and many changes, including a pivot to home deliveries, curbside pick-up, and outdoor tastings. Despite the loss of out-of-province visitors this season, locals "filled the void" and winery sales were on par, if not higher in some cases! On top of that, Kamloops Wine Trail is happy to have found more partnerships and collaborations that are here to stay - "We're in this together".

Right now, they're offering Holiday Packs with a selection of six wines from three Kamloops wineries (free shipping within BC). Support local! 😊

Kelowna's Rotary Centre for the Arts is open and offering several at home programs, as well as educational community programming - virtually and in person (with all protocols in place). Also, you can continue to support local artists through virtual shows!

Glohaven Community Hub is launching the Beta Test of their timely site, on a mission to provide a digital marketplace that makes it easier to shop and support local. Creators of authentic local products and experiences are invited to test with Glohaven through this link!

A View to Remember B&B (the longest running B&B in the region) just picked up two awards at this year's Key Business Awards. Owners Sue and Dann say they've had a fairly strong season and are already booking into the new year.

The Valemount Visitor Services team just earned a Travellers’ Choice award from TripAdvisor for their consistently great reviews, friendliness, and ranking in the top 10 percent of places to stop!
