SilverStar releases Storybook Adventures, an unforgettable video capturing SilverStar in all its elements


SilverStar Mountain Resort is excited to release a one-of-a-kind video created by well-known filmmaker Mike Douglas with Switchback Entertainment, out of Whistler.

The film, Storybook Adventures, is meant to take skiers, boarder’s and bikers into an enchanted wonderland revealing all the aspects that make SilverStar so unique.

“The film displays SilverStar, in all its magic, through a miniature, animated lens,” said Chantelle Deacon, media relations manager, SilverStar. “Think SilverStar in the winter and summer, but both seasons taking place inside a snow globe. The video gives you that one-of-a-kind SilverStar feeling.”

“I was raised skiing at SilverStar, and looking back at the past two-plus decades I have skied here, I can say, without a doubt, this video represents SilverStar and my memories here flawlessly,” Deacon said. “This mountain really is home to thousands of ‘Storybook Adventures.'”

The film is meant to get families and friends excited for another amazing winter season at SilverStar.
