The Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association (TOTA) is pleased to announce the hiring of Cait Wills into the position of Travel Media and Storyteller Specialist. The position will marry the media relations and stakeholder relations priorities of the organization while focusing on the development of consumer-facing content that both enhances education and increases visits to the region.
“We are constantly seeking new ways to provide engaging content to our stakeholders and visitors, and we recognize that having a strong writer on our team to complement our efforts is valuable. To that end, we are pleased to have Cait contribute her skills across our many channels,” says Glenn Mandziuk, CEO, Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association.
Cait is a native of the North Okanagan, born in Vernon and raised in Armstrong, and returns home after almost 20 years in Edmonton, Alberta, where she worked as a journalist and editor, as well as a strategic communications and community engagement specialist. She enjoys working in a variety of integrated platforms – including social and traditional media, as well as in print and online – and wants to share with the world all of the great aspects of the region through creative storytelling and photography.
