The Cahoot’s Kitchen is coming to town! The Cahoot’s Kitchen has partnered with the Harpur Family Farm to host two evenings of five course meals with local wine and beer pairings. Their sold-out event on August 22nd led them to setting up for a second open air affair on August 23rd. The evenings will have a floral theme, so guests are encouraged to follow suit with their attire. All produce in the meals will be 100% local and the dinners will be served on tables milled from trees on the Harpur’s heritage property.
On August 21st, of The Cahoot’s Kitchen will be doing a seminar on the beautiful rooftop patio of the Innovation Centre. Attendees will learn new dishes sure to impress friends and family, while getting to snack on dishes they’ve prepared, and sip some BC wines and cocktails. A portion of each ticket sale will be donated to the Salmon Arm SAFE Society. Tickets are $45.00 per person, to reserve your spot email email@example.com.
The upcoming dinners in Salmon Arm will be a homecoming for Head Chef and Owner of The Cahoot’s Kitchen, Spencer Moores. He has grown his food truck and long table dinner service into a travelling caravan of education, food, and drink. Spencer is thrilled to be back in his hometown for his first public events, Spencer brings a unique West Coast flare to his dishes and has a passion for supporting local farmers.
Marionette Winery will be the wine pairing of choice for the Long Table Dinners. Seats are $79 and reservations are available at harpurfarm.ca or by calling Sydney at 778.839.7644, seating is limited, and the event is filling up fast! The Harpur’s are hoping that this will be a learning experience for attendees; but it’ll also make a fabulous date night with some incredible food in a charming setting.
