Oliver, B.C. – The Coast Oliver Hotel continues to show its commitment to environmental stewardship by unveiling two new electric vehicle charging stations available to hotel guests. The Tesla charging system can be used on most electric cars and will fully charge an electric vehicle within 75 minutes. The Coast Oliver Hotel opened just over a year ago and now joins an increasing network of Tesla charging stations throughout the Okanagan Valley and hope to make driving electric and hybrid vehicles more convenient.
“There is a demand for this type of service and we believe it is an important investment”, says Rajat Kadiyan, Hotel Manager.
“Area 27 has been a boon to the local economy and an influx of luxury car enthusiasts coming into town meant the charging stations and additional security measures were a necessity at the Coast Oliver Hotel. While we have always been committed to providing a safe and secure environment for our guests, we felt the need to increase our security assets to assist our guests in better protecting their valuable property”, says Kadiyan.
