Celebrating Canada 151 at Grizzli Winery

Featuring Art in the Park – Vineyard Trails

Situated in the heart of the Okanagan Valley, Grizzli Winery is the first stop on Kelowna’s Westside Wine Trail. The estate features award-winning architecture and an internationally recognized wine portfolio.

On Saturday June 30th and Sunday July 1st, Grizzli Winery welcomed over 2000 visitors for an Open House in celebration of Canada 151. Each day included live music performances, complimentary wine tastings, and gourmet food pairings inspired by regional ingredients. The event also featured the first Art in the Park—Vineyard Trails of the summer.

Set against the backdrop of West Kelowna’s wine trail, Art in the Park is an annual tradition celebrating local art.  Nine artists showcased artwork in a range of media, including original paintings, prints, sculptures, and glasswork.

On July 1st, City of West Kelowna Mayor Doug Findlater was in attendance to cut the celebratory 3-tier cake.

“We are so pleased to gather the community and celebrate Canada 151 by providing opportunities for local artists, musicians, and chefs to share their craft,” said Edwin Chu, General Manager at Grizzli Winery. “We are looking forward to hosting Art in the Park again in August, and we hope to welcome more artists and visitors to that event,” he concluded.

Grizzli will play host to the final Art in the Park event of the 2018 season on Saturday August 25th and Sunday August 26th.
