A Kelowna winery has been rated No. 1 in Canada with users on Trip Advisor.
The rankings, released Thursday, show the Okanagan Villa Estate Winery and Vibrant Vine Tasting Room at the top of the list of the 21 top wineries in the country.
Owner Wyn Lewis said he is thrilled with the recognition from the top travel website in the world.
“To be rated No. 1 is a very, very big deal for us,” said Lewis.
The winery has recently undergone $2 million in renovations. Its grand reopening is set for Saturday.
Vibrant Vine received a five-star rating from 318 online reviews. It was one of just four wineries to receive a five-star rating.
Sumac Ridge Estate Winery in Summerland and Silver Sage Winery in Oliver also finished in the top 10, coming in third and 10th, respectively.
Ruby Blues Winery in Penticton (11th), Elephant Island Orchard Wines in Naramata (13th), Gray Monk Estate Winery in Lake Country (15th), and Quail’s Gate Winery in West Kelowna (21st) also made the list.
