Do you have a budding Rory McIlroy, Jordan Spieth, or Annika Sorenstam on your hands? We love seeing junior golfers hitting the links here at The Golf Course at Sun Peaks Resort!
This year we’ve made it even easier to turn your kids into golfers with our weekly specials and kid friendly events:
KIDS GOLF FREE!
Yep, you read that right. From Monday to Thursday, junior golfers (that’s anyone 18 years old or younger) play for free after 10:00am when accompanied by a paying adult. Save yourself money on a babysitter while you spend quality time with your kids out on the course – a win-win!
MONDAY NIGHT IS FAMILY NIGHT
Start the week off right with some family time on the greens or at the driving range (or both!) on Monday nights. We’ve designated every Monday evening of golf season as Family Night, meaning after 4:00pm nine holes with cart is just $40.00 for adults (remember, kids golf free) and a medium bucket of balls at the driving range is just $5.00.
GIVE ‘EM A TASTE FOR TOURNAMENTS WITH THE LITTLE BIG GOLF CHALLENGE
Held on Saturday, June 23, Nancy Greene’s annual Little Big Golf Challenge is a family friendly event that serves as a perfect introduction to the fun of golf tournaments for young players.
Sign up you and your little for nine holes plus sport challenges, dinner, a silent auction, and the chance to win some fantastic prizes. The best bit? This is a charity event with all proceeds going to Sun Peaks Elementary and the Sun Peaks Secondary Academy, so you’ll be helping to support the youngsters of Sun Peaks.
HIT THE RANGE DURING SUN PEAKS FAMILY WEEKS
Family Weeks returns for 2018, with free kid-friendly events and activities held throughout the resort between July 16 and August 10. Of course the golf course is getting in on the fun, with a free bucket of driving range balls for every guest on Monday afternoons during Family Weeks (no strings attached or purchase required!). It’s a great way to get some practice time in with your little pro in training.
As the long, sunny days of summer school holidays commence we look forward to seeing plenty of junior players out on the course this year!
