The RCMP’s famed Musical Ride is coming to Kelowna.
Prospera Place announced the horseback spectacle will perform at the arena on Aug. 9 in support of Cops for Kids.
The troop of 32 riders in red serge and their horses performs intricate figures and drills choreographed to music, and is a Canadian cultural icon.

The riders act as ambassadors of goodwill who promote the RCMP’s image, heritage and traditions across Canada and all over the world.
In Kelowna, the performance will benefit Cops for Kids, which provides equipment and experiences for families of sick children.
There will be two shows. Tickets go on sale through selectyourtickets.com Thursday, March 29, at 10 a.m. prices are $15 for children, $17 for seniors and $20 for adults, plus taxes and fees.
