TOTA travels east to present regional iconic experiences and new product to travel trade partners.
As part of Team BC, Howard Grieve, Travel Trade and Media Specialist for TOTA travelled to Toronto and Montreal November 27 – December 1 to present regional iconic experiences at Explore BC to over 40 key Travel Trade accounts.
Joining other Destination BC, Aboriginal Tourism BC, and BC regional partners, Explore BC presentations focused on key signature experiences to create awareness and update product knowledge.
Following Explore BC in downtown Toronto, two days of training for travel trade wholesaler Jonview took place in Toronto and Montreal offices. Round table presentations to over 140 agents and managers focused on their existing and new products providing specific information on the products themselves as well as general regional travel logistics.
TOTA is always on the lookout for new travel trade export ready products in our region. These new products are crucial to the travel trade industry as they look to refresh and customize itineraries for groups and FIT travellers. As new product appears, TOTA sends out regular e-blasts to over 950 travel trade contacts which connects them to an online Travel Trade Planner featuring new product, sample itineraries, signature experiences, maps, image access, regional partners and more.
