TOTA supports CITAP attending the 21 annual Winter Event in Vancouver
TOTA continues to support CITAP and recently attended their 21st annual Winter Event at the Westin Bayshore in Vancouver. TOTA is a long time member of the association.
Canadian Inbound Tourism Association – Asia Pacific (CITAP) is committed to further developing Canada as the preferred destination for Asia Pacific travellers. CITAP was established in 1997 by the leaders of Receptive Tour Operators and now, nearly 20 years later, their membership has grown to be 300 strong from coast to coast within Canada and the United States.
The CITAP Winter Event, December 4 was attended by Howard Grieve, Travel Trade and Media Specialist for TOTA. The event starts in the morning with market updates provided by key RTO leaders active in their respective markets. After lunch, a mini-marketplace takes place where sellers manned booths to interact with buyers from 1 – 5 pm. A reception and dinner followed to round out the day’s activities. This year’s event broke records in all categories for attendance. Thanks go out to Monte Creek Ranch Winery for supplying two bottles of wine as door prizes for attendees.
TOTA further supports CITAP by attending their annual golf tournament held in July in the Greater Vancouver area.
