Adult Science Night Out: our first annual adult only fundraiser at the BIG Little Science Centre.
Join us Friday September 22, from 7pm to 11pm, for super amazing fun science activities, shows, drinks, food and so much more. Science World will present special shows; we will do a Bang Up Chemistry Show (with dry ice too).
Master Magician Clinton W. Gray will be here performing “Street Magic.” Magic up close that will blow your mind!
The brand new exhibit “Microbes aRt Us” will be open with art tours and artist talks.
Come prepared to ‘DO’ science: bounce against others in the giant ZORBS, try out science exhibits and blow stuff up, stand up your hair, and generally Get Your Geek On. All activities, one free drink, snacks and more are included with your ticket.
Tickets are $40 each; all proceeds go towards running the science centre. Cash Bar; a +19 event. Be prepared to spin for door prizes, try out the 50:50 draw and more.

Science World’s Community Science Experience
Saturday September 23, FREE entry all day, 10am to 4pm
Join Science World at the BIG Little Science Centre, with your family, to enjoy science booths from science related community partners with fun hands-on activities. We will have special shows by Science World and BIG Little Science Centre. Plus, the Exploration Room, with over 140 different interactive science exhibits, will be open for more hands-on fun. Great for all ages.
And we invite you to explore the new special exhibit “Microbes aRt Us.” (Canada150) 10am to 4pm. Join us at 1:00pm for the official Opening Reception of the Microbes aRt Us exhibit, with snacks, and an introduction to the exhibit. Free as well.

Natural Art: Beautiful Bubbles at BIG Little Science Centre

This activity is for Culture Days in Kamloops.
Bubbles are nature’s way of creating rainbows in the round.
Join us in the front field at the BIG Little Science Centre to explore just how incredible bubbles really are.
You will make bubbles of many shapes and sizes while discovering amazing colours at the same time. Make square ones, long ones, bounce some, share some of the science and have a lot of fun! This outdoor activity is perfect for people all ages; the youngest will adore the sight of bubbles streaming everywhere, and everyone else will be busy making bubbles to share.
Mother Nature is an artist that we can all enjoy.

Snakes Alive! with Rocky’s Reptiles
Saturday September 30, 2017 at 11am and again at 1:30pm
Join Rocky as she introduces you to her friends; snakes and other cool reptiles. Rocky rescues reptiles and rehabilitates them. She is a keen supporter of proper care and handling of reptiles. This talk will allow you to discover more about these amazing creatures, how they suit being pets. Yes, you will even be able to touch some of these great animals! Slither on in for a super snake program. Perfect for children over 3 up to adults.
