The Log Barn 1912 has new owners.
According to Pino Bacinello of Pacific M&A and Business Brokers, the Spallumcheen area attraction near Enderby has been acquired by a Vancouver-based company led by a small group of Canadian entrepreneurs.
Bacinello did not provide the name of the company.
“The new ownership is focused on building the business and its community involvement. Under previous ownership the owners struggled to manage the growth due to lack of capital, which is not unusual for small business owners,” said Bacinello in a press release.
“The new owners are well capitalized to take The Log Barn 1912 to a whole new level, and provide an even greater pleasurable experience to its patrons.”
Though patrons will see mostly familiar faces, the unfamiliar faces behind the scene will be focused on learning and determining the needs of their patrons, he said.
The Log Barn encountered some problems last summer with the Township of Spallumcheen because it expanded without proper permits.
