Eager skiers can thank the recent snowfall in the North Okanagan for the latest announcement from SilverStar Mountain Resort.
On Monday, the company announced that the mountain will be opening early for alpine skiing on Wednesday, November 30th.
The summit, commit and silver queen chair lifts will all be running from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
They will be opening about 25 runs for beginner and intermediate skiers.
For now, alpine and lift tickets are 50% off.
Nordic skiing, snowshoeing and fat biking are already open with 38 kilometres of nordic trails.
