September is Disability Employment Month in BC

In 2014, the BC Government declared September Disability Employment Month in order to celebrate people with disabilities in the workforce and the employers and communities throughout the province who pave the way to support them.

As BC’s tourism and hospitality industry continues to grow – and as current labour shortages continue to impact a variety of businesses across the province and the Thompson Okanagan region– it’s important to consider tapping into non-traditional labour markets to help ensure the ongoing growth and success of the local tourism and hospitality industry.
