Post Your Jobs Today to Reach International Workers with an Open Work Permit

The Embassy of Canada in France will be participating in the first Salon du PVT (Working Holiday Fair) in Paris on September 10. There are already more than 600 participants registered for the fair, 70% of whom are interested in Canada and 36% of whom already have their open work permit. These work permits do not require a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) and permit holders are ready to come to Canada to work for you!

If you are interested in reaching these Working Holiday participants, it’s important that you post your jobs on the PVTistes.net Job Board as soon as possible. Simply register on http://pvtistes.net/jobs/register.php to get started.

To learn more about LMIA-exempt work permits or the new Mobilité Francophone stream, sign up for the webconference with the Embassy on September 8. Email parisdestinationcanada@international.gc.ca with your name, title, organization and email address and indicate which session you will be attending:

  • Session in French at 8am PST
  • Session in English at 9am PST

Don’t forget to also post your jobs on the go2HR Job Board! Our free, tourism-only job board receives 40,000 visits monthly and it’s being promoted to students and job seekers nationally and abroad.

If you have any questions or require any assistance, please contact Ginger Brunner, Regional HR Specialist for Thompson Okanagan, at gbrunner@go2hr.ca or call 250-860-5999 (ext 210).
