Mending Fences is the heartwarming story of Saskatchewan farmer Harry Sullivan who is estranged from his son Drew. Living on the farm next to Harry is the feisty and indomitable Gin (Virginia) who is Harry’s emotional and physical anchor.
Harry’s world is rocked when his son Drew whom he has had no contact with for 13 years announces his arrival.
The awkwardness of the reunion that ensues causes all three of them to rethink their relationships not only with each other but with everyone else in their lives.
Told in the earthy and hilarious style of Canada’s master playwright, Norm Foster, you will be rolling in the aisles and perhaps shedding a tear or two.
Mending Fences stars Eric Hanston as Harry, and Andrew Knudsen as Drew. Many Hats is thrilled to welcome newcomer Jean Kearney to our stage in her theatre debut as Gin!
