O’Keefe Ranch’s summer corn maze has become a popular attraction for tourists.
The three-acre maze takes 25 to 30 minutes to complete, according to ranch general manager Glen Taylor.
“I’ve been talking with people who have been through a lot of different corn mazes and they tell me it is the best one they’ve been in,” said Taylor.
And for those who are worried about ever getting out of the maze, Taylor said sections are numbered to help people along – although they can still find it quite a challenge.
“This is our fourth year (for the summer maze) and it is growing every year.”
There is also a separate Halloween maze, which opens in October. Last year, 10,000 people went through, said Taylor. He did not supply numbers for the summer maze.
Taylor said a corn roast in the corn maze is planned for the first three Saturdays in August and then Cod Gone Wild in the Corn will take place on Saturday, Aug. 27.
The historic ranch is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
