The Enderby and District Arts Council presents a FREE family friendly street festival of markets, music and art. This is the seventh annual Festival and it has grown to attract over 2000 visitors. It runs from 9 am to 4 pm on Saturday, July 23, 2016.
Take in the sights, sounds and wares of the outdoor Artisan Market where over 50 vendors will offer a wide variety of handcrafted items for sale. In the centre of everything is the Grant Russell Stage with all day music and activities. Acts this year include “Happy Hungry Hippies”, “Shaughnessy Rose”, Hawaiian Dancers, “Marv Machura” and “the Keys”.
Food is a big part of any festival and no one will go hungry with a Food Court on Cliff Ave, the Lions Pancake Breakfast on Belvedere Street followed by the Legion Burger BBQ, plus Enderby’s many fine restaurants.
Returning this year is the Family Fun Zone in Belvidere Park, complete with face painting, games, clowns, Kiki the Eco Elf, and mini goat petting zoo (9:30am-3:30pm).
A new addition to the festival this year is a Quilt Show and raffle by the Enderby Cliff Quilters. See this display at 617 Cliff Ave, the new home of the Enderby & District Arts Council.
Experience the work of a talented group or local artists at the Courtyard Gallery on Belvedere Street and check out their Clothesline sale of small original artworks.
