The exciting group is bridging generations together for the love of good music. The best of the swing era and everything in between, The Offramp Jazz Sextet brings you a sampling of jazz that will leave you dancing and singing! Acoustic Noire will take you on a musical journey of musical and mental imagery, and guide you through an intensely enjoyable and diverse series of melodic and rhythmic emotions, set to the wonderfully variable and sensitive character of the acoustic guitar, and performed for you by two Okanagan performers, Rob Dewar and Phil Patenaude. Acoustic Noire is an original “Orchestrated Acoustic Guitar Duet”, meaning, there are two musicians who play original acoustic guitar based compositions that were developed with the goal of creating a form of orchestration in their original music.www.acousticnoire.com
