Air Canada and Okanagan Partners host key accounts in region to enjoy four premier tourism experiences in the Okanagan region.
An Air Canada Sales team chose to spend the weekend of Jan 29 – Feb 1 in the Okanagan hosting eight key travel trade partners to enjoy the ‘Okanagan Bucketlist‘ experiences. Starting with 2 days at Big White, the group was joined by Howard Grieve, Travel Trade and Media Specialist for TOTA and attending on behalf of Destination BC. Conditions could not have been better after 43 cms of fresh champagne powder landed, the group enjoyed first tracks on Saturday and Sunday with Big White ‘superhost’ Josh Foster leading the way. Ice climbing and snowmobiling were also part of the fun. Mission Hills Estate Winery provided wine to accompany an evening catered dinner at the White Spirit Lodge.
After leaving Big White, the group travelled to Sparkling Hill Resort where they were invited to take in the 40,000 sq. ft. European-inspired state-of-the-art KurSpa spa facilities including a Cryotherapy Cold Sauna treatment at -110 Celsius! After fine dining at PeakFine Restaurant and a relaxing overnight stay, the next morning the group was hosted for an amazing breakfast at Predator Ridge Golf Resort including a presentation on the resort’s features.
Immediate feedback from the key travel trade accounts was impressive including best fam ever in over 30 years in the industry. Business nurtured during the visit will be solidified in the coming months with new packages being planned for the Thompson Okanagan.
