Sun Peaks is no stranger to hosting some of the alpine elite at its world-class training facility. In 2005, when the race centre was established, the Austrian Ski Team signed a five-year agreement to use Sun Peaks as their early season training site leading up to the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. Nearly six years later the Sun Peaks remains one of Canada’s top race training destinations, playing host to a growing number of race teams every year.
