Mudd, Sweat & Tears obstacle course race is at Big White Ski Resort August 2017

Mudd, Sweat and Tear (MST), has announced that they will be at Big White Ski Resort this August. The 8KM obstacle course race, which has competitors crawling, climbing, carrying and dragging themselves (and possible fellow competitors), over a series of military style obstacles – ranging from mud pits and 8’ walls, to steep hill climbs and 60 degree ramps – will incorporate the best of Big White Ski Resort’s alpine setting and breathtaking views.

MST Kelowna will take place Saturday, August 26. Participants and their entourage will be able to race or watch the action unfold from a number of easily accessible viewpoints. Competitors will receive a signature MST race shirt, participation medal, and cold beverage shortly after crossing the finish line. The MST master of ceremonies will be onsite to get competitors & spectators revved up at the start line and keep them energized throughout the day with great music, giveaways and more. The race is open to participants age 12 & over and reservations are now being accepted at http://www.muddsweatandtears.com/

“Big White offers an amazing diversity of terrain, from steep to flat benches of land, and road infrastructure on the mountain that makes for easy access for obstacle placement”, stated John Reed for Mudd, Sweat and Tears. “Trevor Hanna, VP of Hospitality for Big White Ski Resort, and the Big White Mountain community have been very welcoming and we’re confident 2017 will be the year of more mud, more obstacles and more distance in all MST courses.”

Located less than 60KM (or 45-minute drive) from Kelowna, Big White Ski Resort is recognized as Canada’s favorite family resort and famous in the winter for it’s world-class snow. Now open for the summer season, Big White Ski Resort is excited to offer visitors a full summer program including: local festivals, family-friendly events, scenic chairlift rides and hiking in the alpine. The resort is also excited to offer guests’ access to a network of expertly designed downhill bike trails in its new mountain bike park, Bike Big White, scheduled to open August 4, 2017.
