A Month of Art Workshops

Expressive Watercolour and Acrylic Painting

2017 is gearing up to be a very interesting year exhibitions, workshops and projects in the works in your community.

The first on the agenda is the Young Artists‘ Exhibition for young people between the ages of 16 and 24. The opening reception is Saturday, April 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please join us in celebrating the creativity of our young artists. This will include work from the students at A.L. Fortune.

During the month of May, Courtyard Gallery will be working together with the Enderby and District Arts Council to bring you a month of workshops. On Friday, May 5 and Saturday, May 6, Brent Laycock, RCA  who will be offering a 2 day Expressive Watercolour painting workshop. Brent is an elected member of the Society of Canadian Artists and the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts and in 2006, the Province of Alberta awarded Laycock the Alberta Centennial Medal for contribution in the arts. You can check out his work at http://www.brentlaycock.com/ . May 15 and 16, we will have a 2 day acrylic/oil painting workshop with Debbie Milner Lively, AFCA,  a Federation artist from Kamloops.
